My brother suggested that I watch this and must say that I agree with almost everything. There are so many times that people ignore red flags and they pay the price later. This one is more of a warning for guys. It’s a bit on the long side but kept my attention. We all know someone who fits the criteria for at least one red flag. I found myself watching and thinking of some of the people I know whose actions are portrayed at some point in the video. Emotional maturity isn’t always the easiest to find these days.

The Tinder Experiment
My brother was the one who showed me this video and it was SO interesting. The video is pretty self explanatory so I won’t explain it in detail. However, I will say that it definitely sheds light on some of the challenges of online dating. I think that it’s very telling of the significance we place on attractiveness and appearances. I love the dry humor of the host of the video and the way that they approached the experiment. That being said, I wonder if results would be different if the experiment targeted one specific college campus.
You don’t have to be……
Occasionally, I come across videos on youtube that I feel just need to be shared for the sole purpose of bringing a smile to the face of another. This one I found fairly amusing. Ms. Patricia seems to be trying to convey a message to the young women of the world regarding their choices of male companions. It seems obvious that she wants to be relevant hence the background music as she twirls and sashays while communicating her message. I couldn’t help but wonder if this message was life-changing for some poor soul who really didn’t know that she did not have to personally identify as a gardening tool. I’m sure that Ms. Patricia’s motives for making this video came from a genuine place of concern for the welfare of others and a desire to appeal to the youth. However her methods were flawed. Quite flawed.
